Screw conveyor

A screw conveyor is a piece of equipment designed to transport sludge or similar substances.

Most often used in sewage treatment plants.

The transported substances falling from the hopper into the space of the chute are moved by the rotary motion of the screw to the sump.

The choice of a constructive solution for the conveyor depends on the nature of the transported substance and the length of the screw.

Transport augers are made from all metal stainless steel, with the exception of shaftless auger bodies which are made from high strength carbon steel.

The design solution allows you to choose a conveyor with one or more loading and unloading funnels, knife gates, double mixing augers, rotating chute, heated chute, etc.
