Iron Removal Systems

⚙️ Principle of Operation + Design & Applications

The iron removal process is based on oxidation of dissolved iron followed by its removal through filtration media.

Oxidation is achieved by aeration or chemical dosing. The oxidized compounds are retained on catalytic media.

Structurally, the systems are pressure filters including: • vessel
• filter media
• underdrain system
• piping and valves

Applications: • groundwater treatment
• water supply systems
• industrial water treatment systems

🧱 Materials and Design + 📊 Technical Specifications

The systems are manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials:

• carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating
• stainless steel
• polymer materials (PP, PVC)

Main parameters:
• capacity — project-specific
• operating pressure — up to 0.6 MPa
• temperature — up to 40 °C
• media type — catalytic media
